Boudoir is not lingerie photography, and it is definitely not a glamour shoot. It is the slowest hour you'll spend this year — in a private suite, on a quiet stretch of beach, or somewhere that already means something to you — making images of yourself, exactly as you are right now. Some clients book for themselves: a quiet record of a season. Some book as a gift. Most arrive after years of being told what to do with their bodies, and want to spend an hour deciding for themselves.

We move slowly. The light does most of it. By the end of the second hour, almost everyone says some version of the same thing: I didn't know I looked like that.
