Alonso Reyes — A.R.
I'm a Puerto Vallarta photographer with a single, very specific belief: nobody should have to perform for a camera to look like themselves. I started doing this in 2018 because the work I saw missed it — too posed, too flattened, too eager to please. I keep my calendar small on purpose. Three to five sessions a month, max.
Each session gets the time it deserves, and you get the version of yourself that the room actually saw — not the one you've been arguing with in the mirror for ten years. I work in English and Spanish, with clients flying in from across North America and clients who live two streets away. Both kinds of session look different on paper, but feel the same in the room.
Outside the studio, I cook. Slowly. Which is to say I'm not afraid of letting things take the time they take.

How I work
Every session is scheduled around the sun. No rushing. No "just one more." The good frames arrive when nobody's watching the clock.
I don't smooth. I don't "fix." I edit for skin tone and light, and stop. The image you take home is the one the room actually made.
